OvO Pixel is an interactive place to learn pixel art one deliberate decision at a time.
Our Mission
Pixel art becomes easier to understand when you can inspect the actual drawing history, replay every change, and immediately try the same decisions on a grid. Our mission is to connect clear explanations with real hands-on practice.
How Learning Works
- Explain the visual decision and the constraint behind it.
- Watch the saved PixelAsset stages or replay the drawing automatically.
- Practice on the same canvas with the same limited palette.
- Complete the exercise using match scoring and visual Diff feedback.

- 16×16 Projects — guided exercises from simple diagonals to complex material studies
- Color and Shading — compact palettes, value ramps, hue shifting, and highlights
- Reference Skills — dithering, anti-aliasing, edges, and small-canvas cleanup
Tools Are Still Available
Photo and pet generators remain available as optional reference tools, but OvO Pixel's main experience is now learning, drawing, and improving your own pixel art.
