One square, one stitch.

This paper is for planning square-grid charts. The printed square size is a drawing aid, not your crochet gauge. Real crochet stitches may be wider or taller depending on your swatch.

Fill one sheet with a blank grid, or specify stitches and rows for a larger chart. The preview shows how the grid is divided across pages. A 50 mm calibration line in the PDF helps you check your printer's scale.

Printable crochet graph paper questions

Is this crochet graph paper printable for free?

Yes. Choose your paper and grid settings, then download the PDF without signing in. You can print another copy or change the settings and generate a new file whenever you need it.

Which paper and square sizes can I use?

The tool supports A4 and US Letter in portrait or landscape, with 4, 5 or 7 mm squares. Fill page makes the largest grid that fits those settings. Set stitches lets you specify the number of columns and rows instead.

Can I print a crochet grid larger than one page?

Yes. Select Set stitches and enter the chart dimensions, up to 300 × 300. The grid is split into numbered page regions while retaining your chosen square size. Check the preview and page count before downloading.

Why does the printed square measure differently?

A printer's Fit to page setting can resize the PDF. Use Actual size or 100% and match the selected paper size. Check the PDF's 50 mm calibration line with a ruler; this verifies print scale, not the final size of crocheted fabric.

Does square graph paper mean my crochet stitches will be square?

No. The squares describe color positions. Actual stitches can be wider or taller depending on yarn, hook and tension. Measure your own swatch and use the gauge calculator when you need a finished width or height.

Can I turn the blank graph paper into a digital pattern?

Yes. Choose Open this grid in editor to create a local chart with the same stitch and row counts. Draw colors into it, follow the chart in Make and export a filled chart later. The editor's grid remains subject to the 300 × 300 limit.
