This original Ovopixel design is a digital color chart, not a photographed or test-crocheted finished item. Each square is one worked stitch, including background squares. Use separate instructions for starting chains, turning and finishing.
Keep the flower and leaves distinct
The darker outer petals separate the flower from its white background. Keep a visible difference between the petal and outline yarns; similar shades can make the flower's edge harder to follow.
Colors and stitch counts
The full rectangle contains 576 stitches. These counts describe color placement; they do not predict yarn weight without a measured swatch.
| Symbol and color | Stitches |
|---|---|
| A — White | 404 |
| B — Leaf | 22 |
| C — Sage | 14 |
| D — Clay | 52 |
| E — Petal | 68 |
| F — Honey | 16 |
Try one edit at a time
Try replacing the petal color first while keeping the outline and center distinct. Inspect the two leaf colors before merging them: a smaller palette is easier to manage, but it also removes shading.
Open an editable copy, change a palette color and inspect the entire outline. In Make, follow the rows from the bottom; in Print, choose a PDF with a legend and row instructions. The original example stays unchanged.
How large would it be?
For an illustrative gauge of 20 stitches and 24 rows per 10 × 10 cm, this chart would measure approximately 12.0 × 10.0 cm before borders. Width = 24 ÷ 20 × 10 cm; height = 24 ÷ 24 × 10 cm.
This is a worked calculation, not a measured finished size. Use your own washed or blocked swatch: the squares in the preview do not mean that crochet stitches will be physically square.
